 Current CADS production Next on the CADS horizon is our Autumn production, which will be the hit musical Little Shop of Horrors to be produced by the talented and experienced team of Director, David Atkins, and Musical Director, Louise Atkins. Following last year’s highly successful Return to the Forbidden Planet, this show is also packed with great songs, good humour and even has a moral.
It centres on Seymour Krelborn, a poor young orphan living on Skid Row, and Audrey, a pretty blonde with a fashion sense that leans towards the tacky. As co-workers at Mushnik's Florists, they lament their lot and seek a life away from the urban blight. While Seymour is browsing the wholesale flower district, a sudden eclipse of the sun occurs, and when the light returns, a small, mysterious, weird plant has appeared. Seymour, who is secretly in love with Audrey, names the plant Audrey II in her honour. What happens next is pure comedy horror...
