Don't forget our next play-reading event, led by Michael Young, will take place this Wednesday (9th March), and please note that we have a new venue: the Boar's Head, Royston. As usual, we'll meet from 7.30, ready to start by 8pm. See our play-reading group webpage for further details.
Improvisation Workshop: venue has changed!
Please note the venue (and time) has had to change since our first announcement of this event: it will now be in the Methodist Church (Queens Road, Royston), 7.15pm-9.15pm, Thursday 17th March. Kathy Young will be encouraging and developing your improvisational skills - don't miss it! Please note, this workshop is only for adults (strictly no attendees under the age of 16).
Arts Festival 2016
We're delighted to announce that in this year's Arts Festival, CADS will be giving Royston a party to remember: Mike Leigh's Abigail's Party, directed by Louise & David Atkins. Dates and further details will be announced in due course!
Phil asks that you pay your subscription well in advance of the AGM, in order to help the incoming treasurer. To this end, we've enabled 2 new ways to pay: via the PayPal widget embedded on the CADS homepage, or via online bank transfer (Corvus Amateur Drama Society; 91389149; 40-39-22).
A reminder that we will need someone to step up to the role of CADS Treasurer at this year's AGM, as Phil will not be standing for re-election. If you might be interested or wish to know more, please feel free to contact Phil, Ian or Rupert in advance of the AGM. (All other committee roles will also be open to all, as usual).
Our AGM will be held in Meridian School's Pavilion, beginning 7.15pm (to finish by 9pm), on 12th April.
Minutes of the latest CADS committee meeting will be available in the CADS website's Backstage section within the next couple of days.
