Panto 2017 Opens Tonight!
Tickets for our 2017 pantomime Red Riding Hood have been selling at record speed this year, so if you're still hoping to come along, click here to go to our secure ticket website, or call 07925 674 967 to book.

CADS Drama Awards
Nominations for the CADS Drama Awards are now closed; winners to be announced shortly!
The Fred Sillence Award is given "for outstanding contribution to the performing arts"; The Lizzie Houghton Award is given "for outstanding contribution to youth drama".
For further information about the awards and a list of previous winners, please see our website.

De-rigging
As we get ready for our panto performances, we also need to plan for the aftermath. Please plan to lend a hand on de-rigging day, Jan 29th. If all cast and crew helped out, we would finish much quicker, so please be there!

Next Play-reading: ideas?
Our next play-reading will most likely take place in February, once panto is behind us (date TBC). If you have any ideas for a play we could read, please contact Michael Young.

CADS 2017 Productions
The committee would like to invite ideas for productions, of any type, in 2017. For example, the Royston Arts Festival 2017 will take place in Sep 2017 (the theme will be Synergy, but please do not feel constrained by it). If you have any ideas about any productions, please contact the CADS secretary.

GSTARS Production of Little Shop of Horrors
GSTARS School of Dance and Performing Arts will be putting on a production of Little Shop of Horrors in 2017! Opening workshops will be held on Saturday afternoons at Lumen House Studios, Lumen Road, 1.30m-3.30pm (£10 per session) on Sat 4th and 11th February & Sat 4th, 18th and 25th March.
Open auditions will be held during the Easter Break; they are also looking for students to help with Set Design, Costumes, Lighting and Sound.
For more information please contact Principal Miss Georgina Wootten on 07720713532 or at [email protected].

Congratulations to Ian & Tamsin...
...on the arrival of baby Maxwell!
