As a reminder our next CADS Social is today - meet from 7.30pm at The Old Bull - and with all the sunshine there is every chance we can be outside :-) Newcomers welcome... come along and meet us.
Container Emptying
We're nearly done with emptying all the containers and having them removed from the KJAR site, but we could do with a little more help to remove some timber which remains in container 5, this will be on Saturday 21st June 9am->12.30pm, and Saturday 12th July 9am->12.30pm, at KJAR Senior Site. Forthcoming Film Project
Following the success of Mascot last year Amadeus Hall has another film in the making and is looking for supporting cast and crew. If you're interested in getting involved in the filming and production, which will likely take place in September, there will be an information evening on Tuesday 1st July at 7.30pm. Newcomers welcome again, and we're just finalising the venue and will send out shortly and post on Facebook.
CADS Summer Party
Our summer party this year will be during the afternoon of Sunday 6th July - if you'd like to come along please contact [email protected] by 30th June, so we can get idea of numbers, and details will be supplied.
Play Reading
Following all the fun and frolics with the play reading last month our next reading will be on Tuesday 8th July again at Icknield Walk First School at 7.30pm, again newcomers welcome.
Night and Day is a wry and provocative look at exploitation and corruption, journalistic ethics, freedom of the press and marital infidelity set in a fictional, copper-rich African nation.
Liquid refreshments will be provided, all are welcome and can have a turn to read a part, please do come along as our aim is to run these every other month if there is interest in it.
