Committee Minutes

As ever, the latest CADS committee meeting minutes are available on the Backstage area of the CADS website www.cadsroyston.org.uk .

The Fosdyke Saga

After a successful audition, the cast for this year’s Royston Arts Festival production has been chosen, as have most of the technical team.  We are still looking for a Deputy Stage Manager (DSM) for the show – if you’re interested please contact the Secretary.

Performances will be Thurs-Sat 25th-27th September at Meridian School.

Tickets for the shows are now on sale!  They cost £10 for adults and £5 for children/students, and are available to purchase online via www.cadsroyston.org.uk. You can also phone the box office on 07925 674967 if you’d like to pay cash (you will need to collect your ticket though).  Paid-up CADS members are entitled to one free ticket each, which can be claimed by calling the box office or emailing the secretary on [email protected].

Photo request

We are lacking photos of recent productions to add to the CADS website.  If you have any photos that you would be willing to share on the website, please get in touch with the Secretary.

Pianola

Phil Rowe has an old pianola that is looking for a good home.  If you would like more information, get in touch with the secretary.

Summer Outing

After the success of last year’s day on the Heath, the Committee are organising another this year along similar lines.  We’ll have a Kubb championship (if you’ve never played, you’ll love it!), some other silly games, hopefully some lazing in the sunshine, and of course excellent company!  Bring your own food and drink for a picnic – there’s also the Heath bar nearby for buying cold drinks and hot food.

Based on a quick straw-poll, we’ve decided on Saturday 23rd August.  If the weather forecast nearer the time looks terrible the date may get moved to Bank Holiday Monday 25th.

Proceedings will start around midday and all are welcome (CADS members or not), so feel free to bring friends.

Make a note of these forthcoming dates……
