Aladdin's magic!
Now that all the lamp-polishing and ring-rubbing is over, a big Congratulations to all those involved in our recent production of Aladdin!  Your hard work was rewarded with record audiences, and (when they weren’t being hit on the head with sweets) everyone seemed to have a thoroughly good time!

Drama Award winners
We’re delighted to publicise that the winners of our drama awards were:
- Fred Sillence award:  Joe Symonds
- Lizzie Houghton award:  Amy Jordan
Last Saturday (13th February), a CADS committee delegation attended a rehearsal of GSTARS to present the Fred Sillence award to Joe.  Amy received her award during a panto performance.

Play-reading group
Many people are keen to resume our play-reading sessions and have asked when this will happen. Our next event will take place in March – for further details, please keep your eye on our website.

Upcoming productions
We’re delighted to have received a firm offer to direct the Royston Panto 2017. If anyone else has been contemplating ideas and offers, please do talk to the committee, because it’s never too soon to start planning for any other production either this calendar year or next (or even Panto 2018)!  The committee’s keen to consider multiple productions of various types and sizes.

CADS AGM
…will be on Tuesday 12th April. (Time and venue tbc).

CADS Treasurer
After many years of faithful and reliable service to CADS (for which we are extremely grateful), Phil Rowe will not be re-standing for the Treasurer role at our upcoming AGM.  Therefore, please would all members start to consider whether they could take on this essential CADS role for the next year.
Also, please note that any member is welcome to stand for any committee post at the AGM, since the entire committee is appointed anew each year.

Subs
The new subscription-year has already begun!  In order to be a full member, please pay your subs as soon as possible (£15, or £10 concessions). Only members may vote at the AGM.
